There will be a fulltwo-day hour introductory MATSim workshop and tutorial in conjunction with the ANT conferenceand conference and ABMTRANS workshop 2017.

A theoretical introduction into MATSim.

This will include:

  • Theoretical background (choice sets, scoring, ...)
  • demand relaxation and configuration
  • Presentation of use cases

A practical introduction into using MATSim

This will include:

  • Running a simulation using the GUI
  • Modifying config parameters
  • Evaluating scenario output

Please bring your own laptop to the session. Java should be installed. No programming skills required.
