MATSim Tutorial @Tongji University, Shanghai, China

The MATSim Tutorial is an excellent opportunity for everyone to get started with MATSim or expand one's knowledge: you will learn about the core principles of agent-based transport modeling, explore the software architecture of MATSim and engage in the modeling of transport demand and supply through practical examples. In addition, you will learn how to use state-of-the are visualization tools for interactive analysis of MATSim output.

When and where

The MATSim Tutorial will be held on July 14 and 15 in Shanghai as a two day intensive course. It is organized by ETH Zürich and takes place at Tongji University.

The tutorial will take place in Zonghe Building, Room 404, Tongji University.

Courseware, Requirements, Equipment

All presentation material and files of the practical examples will be made available in digital format to the participants in advance of the course.

Participants are ideally already familiar with core ideas of transport modeling and computer literate, but no prior experience in programming is required.

Please bring along your personal laptop and take care that the software is installed and tested (http://www.matsim.org/downloads).
